This spring may be your last chance to see the Legislative Library as it has been for the past 90 years. Members of the public may visit and use the library during days and times when the House is not sitting. These days and times are:
Wednesdays, 8:30 am to 12 noon
Fridays, 8:30 am to 5:00 pmApril 2-5, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
April 10-13, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
May 22-25, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm(Closed Good Friday, Easter Monday, and Victoria Day)
The legislative session ends on Thursday, May 31, so the very last day of public access, for at least two years, is Friday, May 25.
To visit the library you must go to the main front entrance of the parliament buildings and present picture ID to get a library access badge. The way to the library is a bit baffling so be sure to get clear directions. And don’t believe this sign:

If you see this you are actually on the right track. I gather that the sign is intended for times when the House is sitting and someone just forgot to turn it around. Just keep going onward and upward and you’ll get there.
